Khyber Medical University invites applications from Pakistani citizens (Male/Female) for project-based positions under the HEC National Research Program for Universities (NRPU).
Project Title
Identification of Genetic Determinants of Congenital Heart Malformation in a Consanguineous Pakistani Cohort via Integrated Genomic Sequencing (Project #115190-10)
The project is being conducted at the Department of Molecular Biology & Genetics, Institute of Basic Medical Sciences (IBMS), KMU Peshawar on a temporary/contract basis.
Available Positions

| Research Assistant | 01 | PhD in Molecular Biology & Genetics or a relevant field, with no more than three years after completion of the degree |
| PhD Studentship | 02 | MPhil in Molecular Biology & Genetics or relevant field. Enrolled PhD students (1st, 2nd or 3rd semester) will be preferred |
| MPhil Studentship | 02 | Enrolled students of MPhil Physiology or Molecular Biology & Genetics |
| BS Studentship | 02 | Enrolled BS students in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Biotechnology, or related fields (6th, 7th or 8th semester preferred) |
Salary
- As per the approved project budget.
Preference
- Enrolled students of KMU will be preferred.
- Candidates with research experience in the relevant field will be given preference.
